  Biographical Sketch

• Born in Sogamoso (Boyacá) Colombia.

• Graduated from Ntra. Sra. del Rosario School (Bogota) in Philosophy and Letters..

• Studies in Medicine and Psychology at the National University (Colombia) and Geneva (Switzerland). He abandons his studies to visit the great art centers in France, Germany and Spain.

• In Madrid, under the direction of Professor Azcarate (Madrid University), he studies Art History . In this city, he visits all local Museums, including El Prado.

• In 1964 he establishes residence in Mallorca and aided by his knowledge of languages enters the field of Tourism, that he alternates with his vocation for Art and Painting.

• Spends large periods in France, especially in Paris, where he becomes s frequent visitor of The Louvre, Fine Arts and  Jeu de Paume of the Impressionist Painters that become a marked influence in his work

• In Palma (Mallorca) attends for five years the Plastic Arts School of Professor Munar where he studies different techniques and later goes to the Pascual de Cabo Academy for specialized studies..

• Degree in Drafting from C.E.A.
